ALENTIA'S SANCTUARY
HOME OF MAGIC.
Founded by Alentia Evergreen in a series of events that led to her ascent to godhood, Alentia's Sanctuary is the world's biggest (and formerly only) school for magic. It also acts as the world's hub for magical research, and a headquarters for the Archmagus.
GREYSHADOW WOODS
WHERE NATURE REIGNS.
It is unclear what the true origins of the Greyshadow Woods are, but it is almost universally agreed that the forest that surrounds Alentia's Sanctuary is the only way to access the Sanctuary. It is also universally agreed that there is something otherworldly about them.
SHADESTEAD
A MAGE'S HAVEN.
After the Great Magical War, mages were forced to go into hiding, and magic faded from the minds of all mortals. Living in secrecy is difficult, and as such mage-majority settlements have developed over the centuries. Shadestead, founded in 1700, is the world's biggest magical settlement, and with its close proximity to Alentia's Sanctuary, it is also the one that houses many of the world's most talented mages.
